I've already committed to Columbia but this is great for my self-esteem!!! 6a/2w/11r

had heard nothing from the program, have accepted offer elsewhere but finally got a form-based email with the wrong program title and confusing language which I interpret as a rejection (even though it says MFA in creative writing). I'm sure there are great people at UK but this is a very poor representation of the program (notify 2 days before deadline, wrong form letter) for a program charging $65 application fees, you're really getting a raw deal

Has anyone heard back from their PhD program? Please reject this offer if you've been accepted and not planning to attend. It's my only hope now :\

I finally got the rejection today. It has been 3 months since the interview and a month since I reached out to the department for an update (with no reply), so I was expecting it. At least the email from the DGS was kind and personalized. After two seasons of being shut out, I think it is time to accept defeat, get a cat, and move to plan B. Best of luck to everyone with your own paths!

Anyone hearing anything about the free-standing master program from Columbia??? Literally the last program that I'm waiting for a decision

UPDATE: "Thank you for your continued interest in the Ph.D. program in the Department of English at Texas A&M. Unfortunately, we will not be able to admit anyone from our waitlist this year. We wish you all the best in your continued pursuits." The program made 13 offers and had 6 applicants on the waitlist.

Ignore interview— has anyone else still not heard a thing from Irvine? I've already accepted another offer so it really doesn't matter but I'm just curious what's going on. I sent an email to the DGS a couple weeks ago and didn't hear anything back either. Are they just waiting until April 15 to send out rejections?

Waitlisted and really hoping to attend. Please let them know if you've decided to accept another offer! You'd make someone very, very happy. As this cycle winds down, I hope everyone found somewhere that appreciates and values them :)

Had lost all hope for this admissions cycle and then out of the blue the email came. I'm so excited! 1a/5r

Just a desperate last week before deadline plea for the admits who haven't given an answer to Stanford yet to please do so if you can. I am #1 on waitlist, and it's my first choice. Sending strength to all of us, especially those on waitlists, in this last week of chaos and stress.

Any movement from Rutgers acceptances? This is my first choice and i'm maybe too hopeful about getting off…

Got off the waitlist around 2 weeks ago, accepted offer today. Very grateful, took myself off some waitlists and rejected 3 offers--hope this makes someone happy.
