applied for the phd and indicated that id like to be considered for the ma if not accepted to the phd program. i was accepted to the ma and am very grateful but accepting admission elsewhere because of better funding and research fit. that closes out the cycle for me! i survived!!

I checked the portal and then got an email telling me to check the portal the next day. Acceptance, no funding.

GPA is MA. It was basically radio silence from Riverside, so I finally decided to just email them and inquire about when we may expect to hear some results. I got an email back about two days later informing me that I was rejected. No hard feelings. It was the last school I was waiting to hear back from, so I'm honestly just glad to be done with this process.

Finally...as expected. Just waiting on one now that is most likely a rejection too! (1i/6r)

Mean email. I regret that I even applied. They were not responsive at all when I emailed them about status update. The professors were haughty and unapproachable.

Ah! Just received the news after being on the waitlist! So excited and relieved! First acceptance, although I'm on the waitlist at Stanford too & will have a hard time deciding if I end up getting offers from both. GPA is undergrad. 1a/1w/10r

Ignore waitlist…is anyone still waiting to hear from this program or should we just accept a rejection?
