Miracles do happen! Accepted off the waitlist on May 1. I was astonished but I'm so incredibly happy.

Said they were still going through applications through April, is this correct or have they already chosen everyone?

Pretty disappointed in the communication of Notre Dame. They're a prestigious school, but it's been clear to me through the application process that they might not be great to their grad students. I had emailed them about a month ago and they were very ambiguous in their answer. To receive a decision almost two weeks after the April 15 deadline seems a bit rude. Luckily I wasn't waiting for them! And with this, my cycle is finally over. 5a/11r/0p

First spot on the waitlist. Unfortunately, I'm declining the offer as the financial package offered isn't enough to cover the high fees and health insurance. :(

I was accepted and initially waitlisted for funding, but have since been offered a Fellowship and accepted it. Congratulations to my fellow classmate who received the other Fellowship offer for RCP.

Just received the official offer after being on the waitlist. Their last admit declined, so I received the last spot. Just accepted, and I'm so excited!!!

Rejected off the waitlist. My last notification and only waitlist. The DGS wrote a thoughtful email, albeit general missive to all waitlisters, notifying me of the waitlist. He responded in kind about my rejection. Grateful for a school/department that shows care and sensitivity among one-line cold rejections on portals. This ends this cycle (my first) for me. It's me again. As April 15th ends, I hope all of you got something out of this application cycle. Take this fake Dartmouth submission as your sign of closure, no more checking gradcafe. If you are starting a program this Fall, you did AMAZING. If you are not, you did AMAZING. None of us boarded this ship unprepared and what matters is that we are done. Go chug some water, pat your back, order some pizza, and delete gradcafe from your most searched list.

Received a totally unprofessional rejection via email with the title that I have applied to the MFA program, which is untrue. I regret investing my time in applying to this university. Should have invested the fee elsewhere.

Notified via email. No financial aid, but they're pretty open about that. They said it was a very competitive year, but April 14th notification was a bit too late for me. I probably won't be accepting. Best wishes to those who decide to go! 4a/3r
