Graduate School Admission Results

I called and the nice lady told me that a decision hasn't been made yet on my application. Not sure whether that should make me more optimistic or more pessimistic.

no decision is made to my file yet. I've sent plenty of e-mails to the department but no replies. They are very late for handing out decisions and their behavior is so rude. Are there others waiting for a decision??

To the guys rejected, is your status also updated on their website?

Letter dated 5/6. Only program of the 14 I applied to which didn't get back to me with some sort of status by the beginning of April. Fortunately I had no intention of going there.

Is there anyone who was accepted by USC?

I didn't get the deicison from USC department. Do you think that additional offers will be made or not?

I have not heard from USC either. I sent an email a few days ago and haven't gotten any response yet.

Still no decision on my file. Is there anyone still waiting? I received no replies to my e-mails. This is annoying. I waited USC until the last minute and accepted GATech. I don't know what will happen if I get admitted from now on.

Spoke to the CS admissions incharge. Said committee will only consider if some professor says he is interested. Apparently noone has vouched for me yet. No reject but that is not necessarily a good sign as I have yet to hear a positive response from any professor.

have to agree with the person below...their rejection letter was awfully weak considering how much trouble the application was in terms of money and time spent...
