To the poster who has been accepted at USC. Could you please let me know where are you from..am also gonna join USC this fall.

I emailed the department yesterday, and received an answer today.

Called them and was told not recommended for admission

To the guy (or girl) that got his decision by email. Do you wrote to the cs department or the viterbi.graduate school?

You should email Sheri Fagan, and not Viterbi

The CS admissions committee has stopped with their admissions decisions at present. You would be notified should you be accepted. At this point in time, your name has not come up for admission into the Ph.D. program. We're sorry for any inconvenience. I emailed them, and got the response...

I called and asked they said the CS admissions committee has stopped making decisions at this moment and I am not recommended

Why they still didn't reject me?

Even it's a reject I want my decision...

Does anybody know what's going on in USC ? Or, should I just drop all hopes from this end as I didn't hear from them yet ?

To the poster below about USC: It has been 4 months LOL, how can't they come with an answer? Or did we get rejected and our applications are forwarded to MS applications ???
