Graduate School Admission Results

When will we take an answer from USC? Do you have any idea? I am tired of waiting

Tomorrow is April 15. What the hell is USC doing? I must make a decision by tomorrow!!

I asked the department on Friday. The decisions has not been made completely. So, it will take more time. They didnt mention when the slecetion will be completed.

When will they announce the results? I've seen a lot of posts about USC but no one talks about the exact day of notification..

Any news from the department? its only 5 days until april 15 and I have not heard anything from them.

I sent an email 12 days ago to Sherri Fagan, the graduate advisor for the phd program: The CS admissions committee is still reviewing applications and has not made all of their final decisions yet. This may take another 1-2 weeks at most. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Sherri. I hope they do not make us wait for so many time just to say no.

But they have to send us the results before 15 April don't they? Because I must respond to some offers ASAP...

I am also waiting for a response. I suspect we are at various positions in a wait list and they are notifying us sequentially as their top choices reject the initial offers, although that is just speculation. I have other offers with a deadline of April 15th and at this point plan on accepting one of those.

To the poster below: I applied on November 11. I scored 1350 in GRE and have B.Tech as highest degree, also have 5 international publications(2 in IEEE , 1 in Springer). My area of specialisation is Computer vision.

To the most recent person who got acceptance (Computer Vision): Are you going to reject their offer?

Does anyone know when they are planning to give out PhD results ? :S

I am tired of calling the deparment... It is 1 week before 15 April and there are other schools waiting for an answer from me... It's been 4 months, how can't they decide :S

I applied for PhD and didn't receive anything.. It is one week before April 15. Does that mean I am rejected?:(
