Still waiting for USC, UCI, UCD. Why so late?

Non-C.S. major, 3.97 senior GPA, 3.96 GPA in 2 years of post-bacc classes in CS and physics. No publications, minimal research experience (current). Admitted to start early in the summer, but will ask to defer to fall if possible. Will be receiving official acceptance letter within 48-72 hr of the email.

Answer to question "Were you partially funded at all or receive any research assistantship? Do most Masters students generally just fund themselves?" Generally Master's students fund themselves, but I guess I am pretty lucky, I got a partial assistantship (enough to cover living cost in US, but NOT covering the tuition fee) while doing research with POI since Summer 2014.

Got an email to check you.sc. The notice says Academically Eligible. That means I'm in, right?

Had to make an additional account to view my rejection letter which was extremely annoying and not well thought out by the admissions department. Generic letter.

E-mailed them. Rejection letters at in the mail.

No news about financial aid. So cannot accept.

Waiting for TA/RA

I called the secretary and got the news straight from her this afternoon. Really frustrated. Just wondering what the heck do they expect from an applicant.
