Still haven't heard from Columbia! Is anyone else still left?

To the poster in MS&E did you have an interview. If yes, when ?

Does anyone have any new info? how long more should we wait?

Got explanation for decline from the professor who interviewed me: "The main reason for the outcome is that we had many acceptances to our first round of offers, so unfortunately we have no capacity to extend additional offers, despite applications like your were still strong. I am sorry about the outcome, and I wish you all the best for your future."

To the poster on MS&E , I am also still waiting to hear back from them. Called them they said to email. Email they replied saying still in review . They say it can take till April 15 to receive a decision. I am really hoping it will come through.

To the Columbia (FFSEAS) posters below: I'm also waiting for a decision, so I suppose they haven't sent out all decisions yet. Some acceptances were rolled out around 2 Feb, but I don't know whether those are all.

To the poster below, When you have a choice like TAMU, where the cost of masters is cheaper than others, it makes a lot of sense. Yeah, I agree with you. My other options are not so good.

Has anyone heard back from Columbia MS&E? it seems to be really quiet. Does it mean it is a reject?

Someone mentioned the acceptance rate was 12%. Was this really communicated by the department? And is it the MDS program?

Hi, Are people still waiting to hear from Columbia? I submitted my application in Feb and still haven't heard from them.

I haven't heard anything from UBC yet. Does that mean a rejection? Or am I in the waiting list? Please whoever got offer but not decided to join PLEASE reject the offer. We are dying here!

for the post below: have you contacted the University? It's mentioned in the website they should start to publish results 4 to 6 weeks from the application deadline (which was Feb 22nd). So I assume we can expect it this week or next week.

If you do not want to accept this offer, plz decline it asap, there are only two days and I am now still waiting.

Professor asked for an interview. I've decided to go to CMU so declined it.
