Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster asking for information, I did email the department but received no reply from them. Can someone call them and ask?

To the admit post below, Did you received admit notification today? Could you please elaborate a bit on your profile. Would be helpful

Emailed by director with notification of rejection and option to transfer application to non-degree certification program. Three years of work experience in data analytics, undergrad degree in unrelated field (liberal arts).

Masters GPA 3.8/4 UG GPA 8/10 7 years relevant work-ex. Admit is for MS with PhD track.

I haven't received any decision notification from Columbia as well. I didn't even have an interview. Hopefully a no-decision is better than a reject (They might be assessing the application for MS)

Accepted. UBC was my first choice school!

To the poster below: I'm an international student and did not hear anything yet.

To everyone commenting on the interviews for MSCS: Columbia uses these interviews primarily as a filtering mechanism for international students to make sure they can speak English. The only people who reported receiving interviews were international, American students wouldn't do them

To the post below, gradcafe shows 4-6 acceptance and 1 rejection for PhD. Going by last year trends here, I guess we can expect rejection mails by end of this week. I guess it's over. : '( Can anyone call and ask if all admits are out. They don't reply to these type of queries by mail.

To the Columbia poster below: I have also applied for Software Systems and am still waiting for my decision. Could you please elaborate on your profile: GRE, GPA, college etc

last year no updates were posted after feb 10 untill march 1 and some people were accepted in april as well. They start sending out rejection mails once the program is full and students have notified that they are going to attend their schools then UBC will start sending out rejections . This is standard procedure. So there are still hopes

Has anybody heard anything from MA Political Science yet? Acceptances or rejections? I see many have received their decisions for the PhD program but haven't seen anything for the Masters

TTPB: Oh. I was really banking on UBC for my first admit :( By the way, my field is ML

to the Columbia waitlist post below: how did you to know that? Did you inquire them or they only mailed you??...I am also waiting for the result..Last time I mailed, they said the review process is still going on...

Message from Lee - The Admissions Committee is in their final round of applications reviews. While some offers have been sent out already they need to await accepts/declines before other offers can be sent out. I believe all results should be available by the end of next week. Apologies for this delay. Please post if anyone has results!

To the poster below stating acceptance rate of 12%, was it mentioned by a administrator Lee??? Did they mention about the dates when the decisions will be rolled out?
