Has anyone heard from Institute for Software Research at CMU? If yes please comment here.

finally got a top notch school after getting 9 rejections (UCBerkley, UIUC, Yale, Caltech, Purdue, UMichigan, GTech, Harvard, Stanford). This was my only hope. Surprisingly it looks easier to get into CMU masters program compared to other schools, may be because of funding. No word on funding but there is no limit to my happiness today

those who cannot login, i think it doesnt mean rejected, actually, they are using it for posting our status and dont want us to see it, those who saw somehow earlier as they forgot to turn it off know their results somehow.

Deadline for acceptance is 9th April. 3 years relevant work experience in CV. 2 IEEE papers. 1 patent.

Applied to the Language Technology Institute, and got rejected. One first author journal and some undergraduate research experience. I am starting to think that my GRE scores dragged me down.

Got admit from CMU after reject from Cornell Tech, both on the same day, was in depression early morning, elated now, CMU is far better

Has anyone in the CMU MS CS waitlist heard back from them yet ?

So many Masters LTI Admits. Is CMU doing the same thing it did last year (accepts followed by rejects)? Can anyone clarify this?

I didn't get revocation email yesterday. So I asked the people given in the admission email about the acceptance. While I didn't get a reply, I got an email from CS in MS program director with important note in the end: We would like to be clear that your admission letter was correct: we are pleased to offer you a place in the CMU Masters in Computer Science for admission in Fall 2015.

Another acceptance that was revoked.

To the post below People from MSCS who were waitlisted has received mail stating that they are waitlisted. We haven’t received such emails too.
