Does anyone know when MCDS and MSCS admits were released last year? Expected this year?

Does anyone know when the MSCS results will be out?

Rejected via official mail but had received acceptance email from POI. Something must be wrong

If you have been admitted to this program but still have a better choice, please reject this admission so that I can be moved to accept to societal computing. Thanks!

To the poster below: I am the same. And I can't check my letter status, etc. I am applying for Ph.D Fall 2019.

Had had 10 minute chat with prof NOT listed in my SOP. Stipend "not finalized". Estimated to be ~$2600 per month.

Also never trust any CMU professor unless it is written on paper especially when it comes to funding. Don't be shocked to see results turned around otherwise.

When logging into School of Computer portal,can't see my submitted application,instead asking me to start a new application,has anyone else experienced the same. Freaked out.

Got an email telling me I'm in the wait list of the Societal Computing program. Did anyone get admitted to SC?

I regret to inform you that we are unable to admit you into the Ph.D./M.S. in Language and Information Technologies program in the Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. We received over 750 graduate applications this year in Language Technologies, a large percentage of which are highly qualified. However, our graduate program can support only a limited number of new students. This makes our decision very difficult, as we have to turn down many promising applicants. Unfortunately, we could not admit all applicants despite very good academic records and supporting letters.

Good projects, 2 years research experience, experience at robotics startup, good LORs, top undergraduate school. Disappointed!.

No interview. High GPA, some publications (including 2nd author in top journal), olympiads, internship in US. Offer letter mentions Graduate Fellowship. But terms and conditions also mention TA requirements. These are contradictory. Can someone clarify?

I have a MS degree. Strong LoR, fair GRE, 3 first-author articles, 2 co-author articles. UGPA: 3.95
