To the poster below that says who had his interview on march 15. Are you talking about MS&E and how do you know that people who got their interviews after you have been admitted? non-CS background. Undergrad in biology outside US. Doing a biology PhD in the US with some CS-related research experience.

International undegrad from top canadian uni, 3.94GPA, research experience, no publication. Thrilled!

They told me I wasn't going to be given a scholarship, but if I could secure a supervisor to pay for me, I would be accepted. I don't think the professor I want to work with has any money for me, so...

To all those posters who are waiting. I emailed them on April 7 regarding the decision. Here's their reply "Thank you for applying to Columbia Engineering. We understand your concerns. We appreciate the time and effort you spent in preparing your application and want to assure you that the faculty is working very hard to give each application careful attention. There is no other information we can provide at this time. We appreciate your patience with the admission process and will contact you via email as soon as a decision is available on your application." Don'y know what to do.

Accepted as a dual degree student.

To fellow applicants, I just called the institute and got confirmation that they do email admission in batches. Students profiles are assigned randomly to groups of faculty, and when your application gets reviewed really depends on the speed of the faculty you are assigned to, so it's not related when you submitted application. More admissions will be communicated probably in the next two weeks. Stay tight (I know it's hard).

100 years of waiting

Email to check status and they said my application was still under review. So it seems like they have made decisions on some and haven't touched others at all. Stay strong to those who are waiting, congratulation to those who got accepts and to those who didn't, you are going to do great things in your own path and in your own time!

Does anybody have any update on this one? The wait is driving me crazy!
