Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster asking about interview, and when we will find out? to my knowledge there is no interview. It is straight away get the result. I was told decision results will be out mid-april when i checked with the dept.

Did anyone hear about the admission results of Master in Data Science (MDS) program from UBC? No communication yet !

To the posters below : After how long did they reply to your email ? When did you apply to the Data Science program ? I applied on 14th Feb wondering if they are going through the applications chronologically ?

I also received the option to transfer my application to the non-degree program. I let the director know I would like to transfer the app, but I'm not sure I'll take the option if it's offered. Does anyone know of people using the certificate program to get into the Masters the following year? Would it be worth it?

International, decent grades (3.8/4.0), good letters of rec, waitlisted.

IELTS 8.0 . No publications. Research Paper underway. Strong SOP . mentioned interests in Artificial Intelligence - specifically in Machine Learning. Mentioned two professors and their research groups of Machine Learning and NLP. Strong Recos. Just Applied. Waiting positively for an answer. - Sagar Parikh

Good GPA, several research experience but no publication. Submitted the application just before the deadline (Feb. 15th) so I didn't have much hope on this. So excited!
