Received email to check for an updated status, and then the rej letter: "... Graduate departments receive many applications and can only offer admission to a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants. Admission decisions are final and not subject to appeal." No interview, applied for the sociocultural subfield.

Ignore status. Has anyone from cultural/medical track has heard back anything after the interview? It's been almost a month, I am very anxious
