IGNORE STATUS. has anyone heard anything? the application deadline was December 1, but I haven't seen a single post for any decision type. its been quite a while.

GPA is from MA in anthro from another school. Arch track. Received an email with a link to view a status change in the application portal. I only exchanged a few short emails with my proposed PI before applying (supposedly they weren't available to meet in the fall), so I am actually kind of surprised that I was even waitlisted. The message from the grad chair in the portal included the following phrase, "We hope that being waitlisted does not inconvenience you" which I found a bit funny. 1w/1a/1r/5p

Did a visit day last year with the department, thought we vibed. It was high on my list, so this is disappointing.
