Graduate School Admission Results

Very excited about this program so, if accepted and don't intend to enroll, please notify the dept :). I was notified of my waitlisting through an email saying that my status had changed and to go to Rice's app portal. There I found a very kind message written by a faculty member indicating I was high on the waitlist.

Curt, fine rejection. Not an ideal match. I had trouble submitting the application on time so this could've been a factor.

Interviewed today with a faculty member. Questions were thorough. For future applicants: be prepared to discuss past research, theoretical ambitions, and other academic minutia alongside typical interview stuff.

GPA is MA

emailed my interviewee regarding this. he got back saying I'm no longer being considered for admission.

GPA is from Masters. British BA, British MSc, American MA. 0a/3r/0w/2i/8p GRE: Verbal - 168, Quant - 161, AW - 5.0

Got notified by my supervisor about my acceptance mid-Jan, but only got the formal offer last week.

Received email that I was waitlisted; did not interview

Received informal acceptance on the weekend before formal letter from status portal on 2/6.

IGNORE THE STATUS. I saw interview entries for Yale anthropology but I wonder about the joint program with WGSS. Does anyone knows whether the process differs for the joint program or if they already completed their interview processes? Good luck to all!

Email to check portal on 2/7--acceptance letter was linked there. GPA is from M.A. in anthro from another dept. This is my second cycle in a row applying to UMass. Acceptance letter did not include any info about funding, so I need to follow up with the department.

sociocultural subtrack! got an email from POI on 2/2 but formal offer came in on 2/6

3.93 undergrad, 4.0 Master's GPA. Generic rejection.
