Received an email from the Director of Graduate Studies. I'm very grateful and excited! Good luck to everyone!

I had two interviews on the 18th but haven't heard anything back yet. Both interviews went very well. Best of luck to anyone else who interviewed, I received an offer from elsewhere so won't be accepting if offered a place at Chicago.

Accepted via email without interview, second round of applications. Easily the best email I've ever received. Good luck to everyone who applied, hoping you all get your first choice.

not surprised for the reject. LSE has a high standard for the applicant's background (I do not have an anthropology degree although I attended some lessons) and the proposal (talked with potential supervisor for about one month, revised twice) I think.

Received unconditional acceptance less than two weeks after application submission

For the archaeology track!

called by graduate program chair for acceptance. Mentioned that while in the past funding was easily secured for their MA students this year they cannot offer funding YET but will still work to secure it for top MA students. Said that it had more to do with the number of applicants this year as opposed to issues regarding COVID. Applied here as Master's student since their direct to PhD path is more rare (like european system) according to POI but they mentioned they'd want me on as a PhD student after Masters!

Has anyone else heard from PWL? I've seen one interview notification. If the poster from Jan 4th sees this- do you know if acceptances went out? Good luck!
