Physics, Ohio State University Program HEP-ex. Last year I got rejected. But I made it this time. Don't lose your hope because of your grade. I work with my PI after graduation. I also did summer research at DESY remotely. For those who want to be competitive but don't have an excellent GPA(3.7+), try to get a publication or write an undergrad-level thesis. If your institute doesn't have a publication opportunity and you want to do research in HEP. Try to get a CERN account(you may need to talk to your PI), you can get tons of available undergrad research in there!

Summa Cum Laude in CSD from University of Florida with senior thesis project, no double major or minors. Officer of university NSSLHA chapter. Bilingual English/Spanish. Not much other extracurricular involvement, just little things. LOR: 1 CSD prof, 1 supervisor (SLP-A job), 1 personal/out-of-field contact.

Computer Science, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, One-year Master in Computer Science (Conversion degree). Four years of work experience as SWE. I have no research experience outside of my dissertation and no publications. No GRE (The admission office mentioned that GRE scores will not be considered nor reviewed for applications to the MSc in Computer Science)

Creative Writing, Bard College Interview scheduled on March 1st. Zoomed with three writing professors and the program director; the meeting lasting about 30 minutes. They asked about my work and how certain books or aspects of my life influenced my work. About ten minutes was dedicated to asking questions.
