First acceptance of the season! I'm waitlisted for funding though :(

Received email with acceptance and very nice funding package. I love UT, but this was my safety option since they don't do direct admissions in the English PhD program. My other offers are for funded PhD programs, so I will choose one of those. GPA is undergrad. 3a/4r/2p

No funding for masters students. 2 published articles, 4 published creative works, internship at local creative writing journal, 1 writing award. I will be turning down this offer as I have other fully-funded offers.

ignore waitlist--i actually was accepted a couple weeks ago (& posted then) but i wanted to say to anyone on the waitlist that im almost definitely picking a different school! so someone will def get my spot :) im a medievalist w/ a focus in celtic lit & queer theory
