English Graduate School Admission Results

GPA is Master's. International applicant with two MAs. Top choice, but not really surprised after seeing all the acceptances on here. I'm waiting to hear back on NYU but I know some people were already accepted, so Europe it is!

The spire portal said “update pending” for two days before updating to denied at midnight.

GPA is masters. Saw that email to current PhD students on the forum, thought I fit the profile so this hurts a bit more.

GPA is MA. I thought the fit was pretty on point. However, given how competitive the program is, I can't say I'm TOO shocked.

not surprised i guess because it's such a competitive program, but this one hurts a LOT. i just don't know what i'm going to do with myself if i don't get into the masters or the last program i'm waiting to hear back from. hope the universe is kind to me, and you too if you're in the same boat. 0a/1w/5r/1p

GPA is MA. A real let down, as I got my MA there and absolutely loved it, my advisor was the perfect fit really upsetting 0a/3w/6r/1p

Did my undergrad here. This department is miserable but I liked a specific professor who doesn't seem to be teaching next year. The rejection letter is also painfully U of T: "Graduate departments receive many applications and can only offer admission to a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants. Admission decisions are final and not subject to appeal." Onwards and upwards. 1a/4r/0w/3p
