Graduate School Admission Results

I finally got the rejection today. It has been 3 months since the interview and a month since I reached out to the department for an update (with no reply), so I was expecting it. At least the email from the DGS was kind and personalized. After two seasons of being shut out, I think it is time to accept defeat, get a cat, and move to plan B. Off the waitlist

Ignore status. Has any of you hear anything back from the program? The PI I met with said there is no interview for this program and I was told to wait for the decision from the admission committee. I don't know if they are still admitting more students. For those who have received offer from Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) or program in Transportation Systems Engineering, could you please kindly decline the offer if you decided not to attend UCI? Thanks a lot!

Has anyone heard back from Waterloo? Quest still says no decision has been made by the academic department. Wait-list is just a placeholder, I still haven't heard back.

On the shortlist upon inquiry, but they are waiting for first-round offers to be declined. I'm worried there won't be enough time

Rejected without interview. Notified by email.

Put my whole heart and soul into this application just to get absolutely ignored and disregarded. I have a 4.0 grad, publications, strong LoRs, but I didn't even get waitlisted. I waited for months to hear something and started contacting them in mid-March. They ignored me for another month. They finally emailed me back saying that if I would've gotten in, I would have heard something by now. I didn't even get the courtesy of a rejection letter...

Please turn down your acceptance if you don't plan to go!!!!!!!

TO ANYONE WHO GOT ACCEPTED BUT NOT PLANNING TO ATTEND: please decline your your offer as soon as possible as this would help going to my dream school.

My GPA is ok and lower than some other rejections but I had a strong letter of intent and 10 years of relevant experience.

I'm declining this offer today. Program seems wonderful, just have money/location concerns.

Accepted with four years of funding. No GRE, GPA is Grad. Extremely happy, this is my first acceptance. Congratulations to everyone who is going to NC State this fall.
