Unlike most departments, we don't 'over admit'--this means that if we have five funded spots available, we only have five offers out at a time. The waitlist process can go on up to April 15th--at that point, we have to finalize our class (as does every other graduate program--this is the agreed upon date for wrapping up funded admissions offers)."
