Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Wasn't expecting to receive an admit this season, let alone from an ivy. Plans for the year were destroyed as I wanted to do this eventually, but next year.

PL theory: SMT solvers, program synthesis, RL I had 3 video interviews with potential advisor & co-advisor. Received an email by the potential advisor about the decision of admission.

I was just chilling a few days back when I received a call from Stanford. They said, "We wanchu but your vibe was kinda off bruh idk". So I said, "What do I need to do?" and they said "You mind if we check yo vibe ?" and proceeded to ask me to meet them at a real sketchy neighborhood. I declined. A few days later, I receive another call and Surprise, Surprise! It was Stanford again, being real desperate and all to have me join them and make a shady deal. As the last ditch attempt, they said, “Do you love me?” I tell them, “Only partly. I only love my bed and my momma, I'm sorry" and disconnected the call. -420.69/10 wouldn't recommend. Hide yo kids, hide yo wives they out to get'em!

Rejected by email from POI. Had an interview with POI in late January. Area is cryptography.

I got accepted for VTech Meng CS NCR campus.

Mainly interested in robotics. MITACS Research Intern, 1 RA position in a lab in my country, 1 paper nearing submission. They've transferred my application for Master's Consideration.

I was feeling so low after multiple rejects until I was not. It was 3 AM, and I was soaked in motor oil when I got a call. It was Mr. Massachusetts Institute of Technology himself. "I have seen you use computers, and you sure as hell know how to handle those bad boys. The way you slap them keyboards and mouse makes my CPU run hot. Let us computer science together here at MIT, I really want to see you science these computers". I was elated, until I realized. "But Mr. MIT, I would never science a computer other than mine, I have a religious upbringing. I hereby will have to decline your offer". He responded "Ok".

I had an interview early in Jan and was told last week by the prof that I should expect an offer this week.

Notified by director of graduate studies saying that official admission letter will come soon.
