Have interviews been scheduled for this program yet?

TTPB, no phone interview. Just direct admit email. Invited to recruitment day on 3/6

Can anyone confirm the IU acceptance is legit? Anyone else heard anything? Did you receive a phone interview? They typically call people before sending out acceptances.

I emailed the Soc grad director on 1/27, and I was told the committee was still reviewing applications and would render decisions mid-to-late February

TPB: Michigan consistently sends out results mid-February, and I don't believe they conduct interviews. So I'm sure we'll have to wait until at least that long this year, considering they've likely been inundated with applications this cycle.

Has anyone heard from University of Michigan? With the exception of the University of Toronto, I have not heard anything from any of the programs I applied to. Particularly curious about UM as its one of my top picks.

First author publication, 20+ conference presentations, 2 MA degrees, 5+ years sociology teaching experience. I'm surprised and disappointed, but it was extremely competitive this year.

To the poster asking about Yale Sociology: I interviewed with them 2 weeks ago and they said to expect a decision by mid-February.

TTPB: apparently the committee at IU met last Monday to decide final admits and we are supposedly going to hear within the next two weeks. Well, that was a week ago. I still haven't heard anything.

Checked portal and it said they had sent me an email the day before. They didn't, but I did get an email later that day.
