TPB: I'm not sure how you applied to Washington State, but they aren't taking a cohort this year.

Hopefully I'm high on this waitlist and some crazy people don't accept!

Has anyone heard anything from Washington State?

Received an email from the Director of Graduate Studies (also had a PDF version attached). Standard, short rejection, but I figured competition would be tough this cycle so I'm not surprised (loved their program though). Good luck to everyone and congrats to those admitted to IU!

They misspelled my name in the rejection letter lol. Not surprised by the decision but still a bummer.

Is anyone who was accepted planning to accept offers elsewhere? Anyone else who is wait listed hear anything back yet?

A bit surprised as this is supposed to be my safety school. Did not submit GRE. Received an reminder email to check the portal and the rejection was there. 2a/2r/1w/7p.

Seems like those rejection emails are pouring out in order of applicant; mine appeared a little after midnight.

Got the email at 12:33 am. They were one of my safety/reasonable programs. But I got into UW and would've chosen UW over UCSD so it works out. I also didn't send in GRE scores because they weren't the best.
