Waitlisted for funding.

Well... I got what I asked for, I guess. "Unfortunately, it is likely that I will not know whether the department can offer you admittance until mid-April but I will keep you updated when possible. At this time, we cannot provide funding to cover tuition and living expenses. We are working to try and secure funding for you. It usually takes a month or so before we will know whether we can offer funding to you."

Was wondering if anyone had heard anything from Syracuse U. It's the last one pending for me and I would really like to go there. Considering sending them an email this week inquiring about timelines

TTPB: Believe me when I say I didn't expect to hear back from UMich this soon either. Here are some additional details for you: I received the email from the director of the Joint PhD program in addition to the Associate Director of Grad Studies and a few other people CC'ed to the official letter and email. I also received details about my funding package (pretty detailed breakdown that I can PM you if you want), and then a note about a virtual visit day that would occur during the week of March 15th. Hope this helps.

TTPB: To those who are accepted or waitlisted, have you been invited to virtual university visit days, or something like that? And do you have any idea as to how many applicants are on the waitlist? Thank you!

Can you share more about your acceptance - I did not think people would hear back until the end of the month. Has anyone else been accepted and/or rejected? Thanks!
