Computer Science, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) TTPB: I'm exactly in the same case. My application is also reactivated from the last year's one and it's in the old site. I never get any notification or responses from them even if I contacted them so ask about it. I don't know what happens now. Btw, have you updated any of your application?

Computer Science, University of Southern California TTPB: Totally agreed! They're waitlisting students around mid may? Seriously? They've been doing this for years. I'd put it this way, this waitlist shit is just so that people don't move on from USC. They've waitlisted everyone till 1st June and gave the deposit deadline to the admitted students as 2nd june, then what about the seats left after 2nd june? They'll again waitlist. I'd suggest please don't blindly wait for USC till June, they release admits in June and July as well. Start with the process of other university. This cashcow won't spare a single dime!

Computer Science, University of Southern California So, usc is playing waitlist game again. Last year they sent ke mail somewhere around April 30, that I've been waitlisted and would receive a decision by 20th May. Still, I got a reject on 16th June. This year too, they've kept the decision deadline as 2nd June, then how tf are they planning to give decisions by 1st June? And if they are sure of the seats, they should might as well roll out decisions now!!! God forbid this cashcow! Won't advise people below 9.3 to apply over here
