Computer Science, University of Southern California Ignore waitlist. Is it worth waiting for USC now? It will be almost mid-may in a week. There's huge issue of visa slots in India, and once the slots open up for june or july, people will book them asap. Also, USC takes a month's time after you submit your financial docs to issue an i20. So that means it will almost be mid june by the time i20 is issued, so we cannot even book emergency slots by then. They don't even reply to mails properly. Stop playing with the mental health of students, there's already a lot going on in India. Just release the decisions quickly.

Computer Science, University of Southern California TTPB: (ignore waitlist) I haven't heard back either, but luckily I have other acceptances from similar tier schools. I hear Viterbi is notorious for sending out late decisions due to application volume. So yeah, still waiting. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Computer Science, University Of California, Berkeley Rejected from M.Eng EECS (Data Science). This was the last place I was waiting for and I've been officially rejected from all programs I've applied to now (including my own alma mater). Stats: GPA: 3.7/4.0 in EE (with all foundational CS coursework + upper div CS electives in ML, AI, Databases, OS, Networks, Compilers, etc.) from a top 20 US university, GRE: 334/340 (168Q, 166V, 5.0W). Looks like CS masters programs really hate EE undergrads...

Computer Science, University Of Minnesota, Twin Cities To all those people expressing concern, thank you. First off, I believe my hard work paid off and I am lucky to get an admit to UCB(Ph.D.) program. Second, there is a difference between "ACCEPTING" and "ENROLLING". I accepted the UMNs offer to process my i20, but most likely I will be attending UCB. Good luck to all who expressed their concern, and hope you got admitted to your dream university.

Btw if you want to compare yourself with others so bad, I got admits from the top 4 CS schools for MS+PhD(It does matter if it is 4th... XD). PS: Your arrogance is cringy. Yes, I am from the 5th, IITK, and you are not the one who decides if grad school should "CARE" for an orange coder. Agar tum se koi kaam nahi hopaya aur kisine usko kardiua tho uspe mat jala. You don't know what I have gone through.
