We appreciate the time you have invested in submitting your application. The committee in charge of selecting the candidates has carefully reviewed your application for the early admission round. At this point in time, we cannot offer you a scholarship or a place in the combined master / Ph.D. program. Only very few candidates got accepted during the first round and the majority of places has yet to be filled. Your submitted material looks promising and we will come back to you in April. If you have declared that you also want your application to be considered for the regular M.Sc. in Economics program, please note that (when being accepted there) you can still participate in the research track but without funding. Your application certainly belongs to the good ones and it will be reviewed again for the PhD. track in the main admission round. Good luck for the second round!"

Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture, Bard Graduate Center I applied to the PhD program. Got an email today saying I was not accepted to the PhD program but that they want to interview me for the MA program! A little disappointed, but thankful to have the chance at the MA. Material Science And Simulation, Ruhr University Bochum Indian Student from Metallurgy and Materials, NIT Trichy. Undergrad GPA: 8.41/10.00. Had 2-3 projects in Computational Material Science, (including one Foreign Internship). Prior experience in computational material science makes it easier to get acceptance.(People without experience have also got in). It's an amazing school which has a second deadline on May 15.
