Computer Science, University Of Florida Subject: PhD Decision Dear Applicant, The admission committee evaluated each applicant record carefully including the university you graduated from, your GPA, GRE, TOEFL scores, recommendation letters, and other submitted material. Unfortunately, your overall record does not satisfy our admission standard. Recieved an impolite rej letter. No thank, no sign-off. They do not even tell me who they are and I finally find it from the sender's address. I paid 200 dollars for the application fee and shipping of official transcripts, which are required for the reviewing process. They don't care about applicants and don't know how to respect others. Go suck it

Material Science And Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University I have not heard from Northwestern yet. I emailed them yesterday and they wrote back to me saying that they haven't made all the offers yet as of 22nd march. Have you guys heard from NU yet? so anxious.. the decisions are quite late compared to previous years.

Mechanical Engineering And Material Science, Duke University I applied to Duke super last minute, 2 hours before the deadline on March 15th. Got an email from the department chair on the 16th saying that he liked my application and story, and unofficially congratulating me. On the 18th, I received an admit. Unbelievable!
