Nothing showing on my portal, no emails. I saw that some other anthropology disciplines have been notified so I wonder if Linguistic just goes by a different timeline? This is my second year applying for this program at CUNY. Last year I had an interview but no invitation to interview this year :/

Guess I am going to UC Berkeley, because now I am officially a Stanford Reject. JK. Just a rejection. Good luck to everyone else, love and peace to all!

To the person below asking abt Vanderbilt... I am applying to the bioarch track and have had an interview. It was relatively informal and I haven't received an offer yet. But in my experience my POI is really nice and open to questions over email. it might help to email and ask about application status. Hope this helps!

Seems that acceptances for UCLA have already gone out a few days back, but has anyone gotten a confirmed rejection? Seems from past years like they don't bother informing rejected candidates. But I'd really like the waiting agony to be over with one way or another.

Email to check portal after interviewing last week. Given generic rejection letter.

"After careful consideration of your application, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a place in the PhD program in the Department of Anthropology at Stanford University. We received many competitive applications for very few openings. Because of the small number of students admitted to the PhD program each year, we regrettably turn away many strong applications."

Email said to check portal. Dry 3 line rejection pdf attached as decision. This was the first rejection I have received but still no acceptances either so it just wasn't the right place for me. Congratulations to those accepted.
