No publication, some research experience. No interview. Feeling so lucky to get accepted!

Rejected (Master of science in Machine learning), Non-CS Background. Two research internships. Three international publication (Two directly related to ML)

Three years of research experience and co-authored three conference papers. I guess it was a research fit that killed the app.

TTPB 3: I know about Ph.D., whatever my POI told me, I do not know about MS this year. TTPB 2: I do not know about MLT bro, this year. TTPB 1: Lol, I am a Master student from LTI. Thanks for making me aware of the place I am for 2 years, but SCS has 7 departments actually, not a couple. And yeah, an official decision on Ph.D. acceptance from LTI at 9:30 p.m. E.S.T on 29th January is absurd! And guys, 1 thing is for certain, no official email can be sent at night. Also, the Spring semesters started 1 week later than last year, So I would doubt an earlier decision than last year.

Does anyone know if/when Carnegie Mellon sends rejection letters? Seeing a lot of "rejected" posts here but unsure if anyone has actually received an email or if they're just assuming they got rejected.

To various CMU posts below, do you know if you can get accepted to multiple PhD programs at CMU? For example can you get offer from both CSD and MLD? Or you would get to be accepted to one. Thanks.

Are all results of CMU CSD Ph.D. out? :( A PoI from Database group had called me last week asking me about my current research work. Had met him previously at a top conference. I got no emails or cals thereafter! Does that mean that I am rejected? :(

Rejected from Societal Computing for the second time.

Second time applying is the charm! GRE scores on the lower side, but high GPA (mechanical engineering), well-rounded research experience in virtual reality, online coursework in robotics, 2 publications, patent pending work, and 1.5 years of robotics and automation work experience did a world of wonders for admission into the MRSD program. Excited!

Rejected PhD, but accepted into the Master's program

For MCDS, is there a chance for waves? Also for the MCDS reject below - did you get a rejection email or are you assuming you got rejected because you didn't get an email?

Strong LORs and one (not first-author) publication at a top-tier systems conference.
