To the poster below, I am not sure. I had applied to MSCS too and received a rejection mail. It could be that we are waitlisted. People got their acceptance around 14th Feb for MCDS.

To the poster below - you are saying good things about CMU based on what is on the internet and not when you join the universities. No doubt CMU is a good school, but in no way, it is as glorified an experience as what is quoted on the internet. You will understand what goes on at university when you will join.

Since 2nd week of March, MCDS website said Admissions will be finalized by April 7th. The first wave of ADMISSIONS was the week of March 14th - 18th. Since then, NOTHING. Does it mean that NEXT week, we should expect only Rejections or does anyone have a more OPTIMISTIC forecast.

Absolutely nothing so far. Anybody else heard back from the MCDS program?

TTPB, I received the offer from MSCV yesterday. They E-mail you the letter and ask you to E-mail your written decision and pay deposit. I didn't receive that link.

TOEFL 116; Masters GPA 3.84. POI let me know that they have completed first round of decisions, and are now trying to talk to everyone else who applied. So not that big a deal :( (Graphics group)

Are you guys sure that not being able to log in means rejection? CMU closes their portal immediately after the application deadline. Back in mid-December, it didn't let me log in to check if my last recommender submitted his letter, so I don't think not being able to log in is a sure sign of rejection. They may have just updated the portal for those that have been admitted already.

Only wish that my ex get back with me, and waiting for Stanford
