One paper accepted at ICML.

To the post below: many people told me that CMU only sends very few interviews. Most applicants get their offers without interviews.

My post is the one below... I applied under Theory. I said I was interested in Algorithms and Complexity and had some experience with Machine Learning

Rejected from both Robotics and ML PhD.

TTPB: Based on last year's results, I'd wait 2-3 weeks before losing hope on CMU. As for the other schools you applied to, I'd recommend checking out there F19 results.

I wasn't sure whether I actually applied (anyone who filled out their app should know what I mean)... Turns out I did.

MSCS

Full tuition scholarship plus 26K for the first 9 months.

Non-CS bachelor's from a large, mediocre state university.

MLD.

Physics undergrad, two REUs, two years of research. Email to check status on website. Very excited!

Anyone who can login to other than 1 and 6?

Guys, I need some help. I am an international student and I haven't received any interview request so far – does that mean I am done for this season? I have some relevant research experience and published papers in some good conferences (AI/ML/HCI). Should I expect anything from CMU, UMich, NYU, and GaTech or should I just rest my hopes? Any honest thoughts on these might be of some help; thanks!

Applied for both PhD and MS in ML, but so far accepted into the MS program. Does this mean rejection from the PhD program?

Applied for MSCB and got accepted for MSAS.
