Computer Science, University of Maryland Global Campus Ignore waitlist. Are they ever going to release a decision? Its been so long since I applied and have been waiting patiently to hear only *crickets* from them. Or has anyone received a decision?

Mathematics, University Of Maryland College Park To Applicants Waiting on UMD: I was accepted a while ago and am fairly certain I will be declining my offer in the next week-or-so. I am writing this since I have seen posts for applicants waiting on this program. This declination should help since the offer contained TA-ship & small additional fellowship.

Clinical Psychology, University Of Maryland Baltimore County Received email from PI last week and the formal offer today. Really love the program but they won't release the funding offer until I accept the admission offer. I really don't know what to expect and would love to discuss this with others in the same boat. Also posting in the forum so feel free to DM!

Physics, University Of Maryland, College Park (UMD) Emailed the department to ask about my status and they said final offers were sent out on Monday and that they were sorry they couldn't offer me a spot. Pretty much expected at this point. Did not receive the actively considering email.

Physics, University of Maryland Global Campus Just email Prof. Cohen and he will tell you everything about the status. (Extremely frustrated about the result because it seems that the "active consideration list" is truly a waitlist and I held the expectation for nearly two months !!)

Speech Language Pathology, University of Maryland Global Campus NOT AN INTERVIEW. Has anyone else checked on their app status in their portal? Now mine has an application ID number, I'm a little confused as I thought it wasn't ranked, am I reading into it too much?

Physics, University of Maryland Global Campus To those who are under active consideration and who are not, you guy will all receive rejection within a few days. I just emailed a professor who in charge of the admission and was informed that the final round of offers were made by Monday, meaning that if you haven't received any response, you will be 100% rejected. It's actually hilarious that this process took such a long time. Also, I was on the active consideration list and was told that a significant amount of offers would be made in Late March. But it seemed that very few were given, it turned out umd was kinda pranking on us ï¼

Pure Mathematics, University of Maryland Global Campus I mailed them asking about the status of my application. They replied by informing me that they will not be able to offer me a place in the program for fall 2021. Informed me that they have received over 220 application and they plan to take 10 students or so.

Physics, University of Maryland Global Campus TTPB: As someone who did not receive any news from the UMD, I am wondering the same thing. You at least have a (slim) chance and was informed of that. I don't understand why they couldn't reject me and others like me until now.
