Graduate School Admission Results

Research track for ML/NLP. Does anybody know if UMass provides TA/RA and waives tuition for the research based masters?

Applied for PhD, accepted into MS without funding. Heartbroken! :(

TTPB: Yes I was accepted to the MS/PhD program last week.

If anyone's status is 'update pending' and didn't get a result yet, check the admissions tab in spire, if you can see a new option 'student center - new grad', then check your result there. I got my status change mail on Saturday and accepted today. All the best folks!

I applied for MS. Got a mail saying status updated on 13th (portal still said status pending) and then today it changed to Accept. No mail though. I applied around December 10th-15th.

Its all about a high GRE score and a high GPA. No one cares whether you're interested or passionate.

Anyone else's status in SPIRE still 'applied'? Is there a chance of any more Masters admits? Or does this mean a reject?

Non-CS undergrad major. Expected result.

Undergrad from NIT-A. One research paper. One research internship. Couple of relevant projects. 2 year work experience.

RE to the post below: "did you receive an email before your status update? or did your status directly change in the portal?" ...... Reply: Yes, I received an email before the update. In fact, the portal is still saying update pending.

8.13 GPA, Mumbai University, 330 GRE (169Q, 161A, 4AWA), 118 TOEFL, 5 publications (2 papers, 3 chapters), 5 internships. Area: AI.

Hello. Has anyone heard from UMASS for PhD program?

Got an email stating that the application status had changed on the spire portal.

Status changed today to update pending!! LOL ... I think I'm going to Stony Brook even if I get an Admit now!! LOL Umass...
