Graduate School Admission Results

(already posted wl) TBP: I am also in the neverending waitlist, invited to the visit week but heard nothing from them yet.

Has anyone (accepted students/priority waitlist/waitlist) received information on the Virtual Visiting Week? I was told I was invited but never heard back again with more details

Zoom interview, was told decisions to be announced within ten days

TTPB: UMD is on break. I called ahead because I had a job offer and was informed of my offer. They should be following up very soon!

TPB: I think maryland has released acceptance and waitlist so probably an IR now. TPBB: Has Maryland started making funded offer? I was notified early March about acceptance but waitlisted for funding, wondering if they are offering fundings one by one now...

TPB: Radio silence from them for me, too. No clue if it is IR or unofficial WL

I have not heard any decision. Is this IR or they are making decisions on a rolling basis? Anyone on the same boat?

I have accepted. $23k funding + fellowship from graduate school. Non-econ undergrad, MA in econ, both state schools with scholarships to avoid debt. Lots of research experience including 2.5 years research in health economics think tank.

Canadian applicant. $19,000 in funding. Emailed by manager of the program then received an official letter on Quest approximately 1 week later.

Rejected from everywhere else, this is my last hope now. Even here I am only waitlisted. I don't know what to do now and this last couple of months have been toughest months of my entire life. Had 2 new publications since after submitting the applications, but no one will know what I achieved since then. :(

CS + Math double, 3.90 GPA, 2 unpublished papers I was accepted to the combined BS/MS program since I did my undergrad at UMD. They prefer PhD students over MS students, so the acceptance rate is typically pretty low, unless you're eligible for the combined program since a lot of people do a PhD right after.

Am a B.S./M.S. applicant from UMD. We go through the same application as the other master's students, but might get a small boost when it comes to applications. Received an email confirming my admission in the morning today. Said results are not official yet, which means non B.S./M.S. might need to wait just a little longer for results.

Got notification that I would be recommended to the grad school for admittance to the program, still waiting to officially hear from grad school. The email was filtered as junk mail so I did not get the news until today (a week later).

3.65 UGPA w/ BA thesis, accepted to MPhil program by email 3/17.

Disappointed, really liked the professor. But the program is not a good match anyways
