Computer Science, University Of British Columbia Where are all the 2020 students at? Anyone hear back yet? I received just one email about how they're still continuing to evaluate applications and dealing with the COVID-19 situation. Their application deadline was so long ago... we've been waiting 5 months now :( hoping to get admitted but have already received my rejection from UofT and UofA.

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia TTPB: I had an interview with a professor on the 6th May and received the acceptance on the 8th via email. The deadline to accept is 1st June so I guess UBC will be sending updates soon to whoever hasn't heard from them. Good luck if you are still waiting, late admission is a thing apparently!

Computer Science, Columbia University Applied in September 2019, interviewed in March 2020, and the decision status on the portal still says “Pendingâ€. Is there anyone in the same boat as me? This is becoming so stressful. I had to accept two other Ivy League unis just so I could guarantee a spot, but my top pick is Columbia.

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia TTPB: When did you receive the email of acceptance ? Was it on 8th May only? Did you have an interview with the Professor before receiving the admit or the admit came in as a surprise provided it is late in May they have replied.

Data Science, Columbia University Generic Rejection. I reckon it's due to my low GRE score and not-so-special profile (no research papers, 1 internship, no work ex). Didn't have an interview. Tip for future applicants: If you don't get selected for an interview (at least for CS and DS at Columbia), there's a 95% chance you won't get in. Anyway, good luck to everyone who got in.
