Computer Science, Columbia University I submitted my application in Jan, gave an interview on 10th March, still haven't heard anything from Columbia University. Congrats to the people who received the admit. Could anyone of you please kind enough to share your profile?

Computer Science, Columbia University ttpb depends on what you are looking for. Ill be attending another school other than these 2 but I got accepted into Penn's CIS and columbia's ms masters. In terms of finding a sde job, Penn is average and Columbia is below average. If you are looking for research in fields other than NLP or embedded systems though I would choose columbia

Computer Science, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) TTPB: Same here although I had initially applied to Ph.D. I have another admit from UMass Amherst but I would prefer Columbia over that. I gave my interview in the last week of March. There is a round of accept deadlines on the 23rd April so I'm expecting another batch to be released then. Fingers crossed. It's my dream to study at Columbia.

Computer Science, Columbia University I have not received any response from Columbia since my interview mid-March. Should I continue waiting or accept an admission from UPenn? What are the chances to get an admit from Columbia at these time as it is almost end of April already?

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia TTPB: yeah, no interview yet. that's really confusing, as most of the admitted students had given interviews in Jan/Feb. So if we had no interview then they should have rejected us during the second batch of rejections, but they didn't. So don't know what they are thinking?? Making us wait for more than 6 months just for rejection is frustrating.

Data Science, University Of British Columbia Got waitlisted here Last Friday (17th). Can anyone tell me more about the tech scene especially the AI scene in Canada? I have decent admits from the USA: Amherst, UCSD, etc. What would be better if I get into UBC (already have admit from Waterloo DS) ?

Data Science, University Of British Columbia International student. Submitted application in mid-Jan 2020. Submitted all reference letter on 2nd Feb 2020. Till now 20 Apr 2020, I have neither been wait-listed nor received any updates... Waiting....aiting.....iting.....ting....ing...ng...g.....(Hope an offer can be sent to me: )
