3.9 GPA, summer REU at top University, 2.5 years of undergrad research, no publications. I don't think my profile is cut out for top schools

Thank you for your application to The David Rockefeller Graduate Program at The Rockefeller University. Competition for our program was especially intense this year. Consequently, we are not able to offer you an interview for acceptance into our program. Regrettably, every year we are unable to accept many qualified candidates due to limited space and resources. 13 publications with one first author and four-second author. Had an individual interview with the admission committee before applying and got permission to write his name on the research statement. Although I understand that this year's competition is extremely extensive due to outstanding applicants reapplying to top schools due to last year's covid-19 pandemic and the low acceptance rate of top schools, I'm upset.
