Graduate School Admission Results

Got acceptance letter for MOCB with funding letter attached. Still waiting for graduate portal to update.

Result came in a letter from PhD program director attached as PDF to an email. Offer was for 2 years full assistantship. No GRE. Extensive (10 years) experience in policy/planning research. GPA is from master's. Portal still says "under program review."

Weird. Got accepted to Stanford, Columbia, Penn and BU, but rejected from here.

Anyone heard anything from Loyola regarding the waitlist? Position on the list or a tentative timeline of when we'll hear back?

Physics GPA 3.84, 6 Months of HEP-ex research, one grad school class in machine/deep learning, two independent studies. Last result from universities. 4a/5r. I have officially committed to my school and rejected the other offers.

Email to check the portal. QIS/AMO. Two line generic rejection letter. This was the most awaited rejection. Finally got a closure. But this is really disappointing and I'm really sad.

physics is literally a trade at this point. if i wanted to memorize meaningless jargon i would have become a plumber. also they make the field as inaccessible as possible & then ask how we'll help make it inclusive in the application... ultra bruh moment

Ignore waitlist. Is anyone still waiting to hear from UMD College Park MSCS program? Or should I just assume that I am gonna get rejected?
