So sad. I just got the result. It seems that CMU ML sent the rej before ac because I have not seen any ac here.

MCDS - Reposting since I originally listed it as Computational Data Science and I don't think the bot picked it up. 2 papers in upcoming CV conference, 1 year experience as software engineer, strong LOR's. no financial package (TA/RA/Fellowship) offered up front, potential TA positions after first semester but pay is minimal (12.50/hr). no prior contact with any faculty members. gpa for last 2.5 years was 3.97

Waitlisted. Any idea how likely I am to get off it?

TOP 50 ECE undergrad, CMU MCDS accepted, one year internship at a local startup, no pub

Rejected from MCDS, unsure if still being looked at by the other departments I applied to (ML and CS)

MCDS, guess I don't belongs to the limited set of superlative candidates :( Does anyone know exactly how many students they are admitting though?

But all the admits that are posted here are either for MIIS or MSAII. Haven't come across any MLT ones

TTPB asking regarding the MLT results, as far as I know all MLT results are out.

When will the results be out?

Any idea when will the results of MS LTI will be out? Not the MIIS and MSAII programs but the MLT program.

Where do you think I fall in the percentage? Background: Big State School EE Undergrad 3.8 GPA Latin Honors, wanting CS PhD, Skipped GRE, 1 REU + Undergrad research projects, Compelling essay (first gen college student) with passion and diversity focus, undergrad TA experience, EE internship at no name company, decent letters, what percentage would you give me and what schools should I realistically get my hopes up for? I am American with zero connections (yes its possible if your on the poor side).
