MLT results are out it seems, does anyone know when to expect the MIIS results?

1 year research experience in ML lab, 1 rejected ML paper, no internships. I think I got in mostly because of strong letter of rec; I TA'd for 2 professors for over 2 years, and the 3rd professor was head of department of my undergrad major.

I regret to inform you that you have not been admitted to the Ph.D. in Robotics program at Carnegie Mellon University. You will be notified by separate email from each program to which you have applied. Our admissions committee scrutinizes applications to identify and compose a group with best potential for cutting-edge robotics research in our institute. We can support only a limited number of new students, about 35, yet we received over 820 applications this year. Many applicants have strong qualifications and will likely go on to successful careers in robotics. < span style="color: black; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt;">I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Non Computer Science Degree from Tier 1 UK uni 3 AI internships 1 year of research experience (no publications) Really excited to get accepted to the program!

Any idea when the MCDS admits will be out?

Undergrad from a tier-2 public university in India, AI college and online courses and one paper in Machine Learning. 2+ yrs of software development exp.

3 yrs of project management, 2 undergraduate degrees (one non engineering and the other engineering), some robotics side projects

It's pretty clear one needs publications and/or research lab experience to get accepted in these programs. I had 2 big weaknesses. No pubs and low gre quant score. Otherwise, 4.0 GPA, 6 AI courses.

To the accepted PhD CMU LTI that was a CMU graduate with 6 papers... if you got rejected then literally I had no chance anyway.

my GRE is so BAD I didn't think I'd get in but I have 3 FAANG internships and a publication in a tiny NLP conference so maybe that helped a lot!

Can any of the MSCV candidates who were rejected mention any stats if provided in the email?

Disappointed. Apparently there were just 20 admits because of the deferrals. Deferrals are playing a huge role this season and affecting admissions. And, its surprising that the email states that there were only 350 applicants, last year it was 670. No clue how it fell down
