Is there any point holding out for news now?

TTPB: USC accepted to applied data science. Could you please share your profile

still no update from USC submitted for general in Jan. No update yet means reject? Was very bad admission season :(

I am still waiting for a notification. Is it fair to assume all decisions have been made by now?

Computer Security Specialization, DEN Program. Undergrad CS Major from average state school

TTPB: I am a Physics undergrad but I've taken 4 ML/DL classes, 3 of which were grad-level as well as DL specialization from deeplearning.ai and Intro to DS specialization from IBM on Coursera. My GPA when applying was 3.26 so I presume these classes/certs as well as my research/internship experience helped.

MSCS (Scientists and Engineers)

First choice and committed; waited a long time but it was worth it in the end

I'm still waiting on the decision too. I tried contacting them but got no response.

Is anyone still waiting for PhD decision?

TTPB: Yes, I got my decision on 10th (or maybe 9th night for them). I applied to their programs in early December. Radio silence till the decision mail. And I'd say I had pretty decent-strong LORs from my college faculties (conducted research under them for 1.5 years).

TTPB: Thanks for sharing. To confirm, you heard back on April 10? Mind sharing when you applied? Strong LORs?

TTPB: Thank you! My CGPA is 9.25/10 in India.. roughly 3.8-3.9 when converted.

Got accepted into both AI and DS tracks. Tier 2 University from India with 3 papers. Will be rejecting DS asap. Admit after 9 rejects, keep hoping guys it's still not too late. Good luck to everyone.
