Graduate School Admission Results

Now Viterbi portal shows about financial forms etc. I think those who didn't receive decision is reject. Didn't see many USC MS in CS general admits this year really sad 😢😢 Anyone still having hope?

TTPB: Would you say your major GPA/ cs GPA is higher than 3.38 overall gpa? Did you go to a top 20 undergrad?

Ignore the waitlist, TTPB I am in the same boat. Despite multiple mails, all I get is the stereotypical mail. But honestly man I think there will only be massacre of rejects. lets brace for that maybe.

Ignore WL: USC's official website says that majority of the admits are given by end of april. It's already time and we have reached end of april. Still no sign of last round of mass admits. Does anyone have any idea when are they planning to give mass admits?

Rejected from MS CS - data science, however my application is being forwarded to the MS CSES. My first degree is industrial and systems engineering and I'm graduating from a CS post-bacc program this June.

CS - Data Science: Was rejected from the program via email today. I guess a positive is that my application was automatically recommended for review for the CSES program (MSCS degree with extra classes for students with not enough CS background). Guess we just have to wait and see. Congratulations to everyone that was accepted, and good luck to those that are still waiting.

TTPB (to everyone getting accepted 26 april): When did you apply? Still holding out as an applicant from 5 days before final deadline.

Went to top 20 CS school undergrad with average GPA (3.35/4.0). Also average GRE (162Q, 155V). Glad I got in because I was rejected to all other 12 universities I applied to including my alma mater...

UC Undergrad. Received mail at 2:10 am PDT.
