Graduate School Admission Results

Not even April 15th, that's the deadline to submit your intent to register. The website said that admission decisions will be released in March. We should've all received communication about our applications very long ago, the amount of time that we have been left in the dark is extreme.

I am also waiting for the result. I think the admission team of MEng should refund the app fee ($120) to applicants who have not received any message regard with the application results past Apr 15 (not even a message to say they will delay the notifications).

TTPB: I have also heard nothing, which is really disheartening. We've all been on edge waiting for these results for so long and with every passing week, we get nothing. There was a post made on April 3rd by an applicant who assumed they had been rejected although they never received an official rejection letter. It was confirmed to that applicant that they'd release official rejections by the end of the following week which would have been April 10th at the latest, and they still didn't come. As there seems to be an acceptance that came out today (I'm guessing MEng), I am hoping that today is finally the day. It is my hope that this all ends well for all of us who have been left on edge for so long because it is cruel to leave potential applicants anxious and completely out of the loop for so long. If this all ends with a rejection, that would make this all so much more painful.

I have heard nothing from the Berkeley Meng EECS program. I am writing an email to ask for refund of my application fee. I encourage all of you guys to do that, so next time they won't treat us applicants like piece of S***

TTPB tbh I think the universities that do not reply until April 15 should give a refund for the application fee. I am thinking of sending them an email about it.

Still haven't heard... Why did I even pay the application fee when they can't even respond on time?

If we haven't heard back from them, should we assume a rejection as there are not a lot of people on the forum who have reported rejection?

Emailed department advisor for update and got email to check status update on application portal the next day. Really sad... My top choice, but also got rejected to ALL 7 grad programs I applied to. Guess I'm not going to grad school this year );

Has anyone been notified through email about admits from UCB? It is already 15 April and I have received no email from the University. I have emailed the University twice but did not get any reply. Anyone who has been notified please post on this forum as soon as possible.

For Haas admits, could I know whether you will join the BPP program? If you have a better place, would you mind declining the offer? This is the only non-rejection I currently have for economics-related Ph.D. Thank you very much.

I am the first person "wait-listed below". I just received an email for Fall 2020. No change on the website at all. "I am happy to tell you that we were successful in obtaining another position, and we can offer you a position in our 2020-2021 PhD class"

I've sent numerous emails asking about the status of my application, but have yet to receive a response.
