Graduate School Admission Results

Pretty much expected this.

Undergrad from Tier 1 IIT; 2 A* first author papers (ACL and ICLR) and 1 second author A (IJCNN) paper. Rejections from all 4 places I applied to - Stanford, UWashinton, Cornell and here. Its really frustrating!!

tier 1 IIT undergrad, coauthored 1 paper at top systems conference, another under submission. Did remote RA at top US schools throughout junior and senior year. This year is extremely depressing. 0a/8r/5p.

3.71 GPA from Arizona State University. Several internships, including 2 at NASA. A few papers in progress.

BS in EECS w/ honors from top 5 US school. GRE 170Q/167V/5.5W. 6 years exp as a software engineer, 2 years in relevant research area (computer vision). No pubs or LORs from academia probably the main reason for rejection. Dang! All rejects so far this year. Congrats everyone who got in.
