Alas, MCDS wanted me but not ML !

I wanted to know if anyone has heard from CMU for CS PhD programs. I know that Robotics sent the results a while back. My target area is Systems.

MSML

SO SAD!!! The email says the applicants are far more than the available spaces. Why Education trajectory has become so competitive???

Does anyone know if all PhD decisions are out?

MCDS :(

MSML reject. This date never worked for me anyways. Like ofc on 26th many godly things have happened like 2004 Mega Tsunami, India 26/11 terrorist attacks or the Gujarat Earthquakes. This rejection just another manifestation of the omen associated with this date .

ML, MCDS reject.. TTPB: Stats - 1300 applications for ML, 1500 for MCDS,

Applied to 3 programmes in Carnegie mellon, got 3 rejections

Rejected from MIIS and MCDS

Rejected from MSML and MCDS. Lost all hope now.

MSML. Top 30 undergrad in the U.S. with ML minor. 2 years of experience as SWE.

MCDS rejection. Still waiting for MSCS decision. Any idea when the MSCS admits are coming out?

Any group for MSML accepts?

MSML accept, an undergrad from best IIT, very strong letters, and 3 pubs under review at the time of application. Waiting for Stanford now.

Has anyone received an admit for MS in CIS or they haven't started sending them out yet?

No stats mentioned in the offer letter, no funding information.
