TTPB: Which area of SHIPS have you applied to?

The interviewer said they are working through a long list of potential applicants for interviews (So I am assuming there is more to come so don't worry if you havent gotten any notification yet). Good luck to everyone! Didnt take GRE. 3 years of industry experience.

The guy who claims he got KH is 98% BS. The KH shortlist doesn't come out until Feb 3, interviews and the decision for it are in March.

TTPB: Congrats! Are KH results out? They mailed that KH results will be out on Feb 3.

Hello everyone, I hope you are fine. I have not received any notifications, Has someone been rejected? I just saw interviews answers at 14th January after that just silence in this forum for biology. I do not understand the system of selection, what are we waiting for? Blessings and wish you the best!

Does anyone know how Stanford is conducting admissions this year? I only saw two interview posts so far, but last year had interview posts spanning 2 weeks

undergrad gpa 3.77, masters gpa 4.0 from top 10 university, 1 publication and 1 under review. we have done everything we can.

After my interview, I was told results will come out in about 10 days.

3.9 GPA, 2 years of research (national award- No publication), industrial internship

As expected

It is a small size program. As expected. 12 publications in academic journals (3 of them as first author), 3 strong RL.

TTPB: nobody really knows that unless someone from the inside answers. usually if you got an interview it is a good sign because they are considering your application. however, from previous post it could be possible that Stanford already sent out their first rejections, in that case getting an interview may actually mean you are in the borderline. Everything is Bayesian Inference and we can never know.

Did Stanford send interview invites for most of the applicants? Any idea how what are chances of getting accepted after the interview? TIA

High GPA (4.0), 2 internships in industry, 1.5 years of research, no publications, tons of extracurriculars (not sure how important they were though). im crying :,)

3.5 years of research experience (no publications), started at community college and transferred to top 10 university, strong letters of rec, (bad GRE so thank goodness they didn't need that this year!)
