3.88 GPA, no GRE, 4 presentations, 1 publication + 1 to be submitted. 4 years of undergraduate research experience. Oh well!

Emailed them and got this response: Thanks for checking in. Decision letters should be sent out no later than the end of next week.

Ivy League PUI, 3 years of research, no publications, 1 conference, strong letters of rec. Interested in chemical biology. Not sure what I did wrong.

Very generic email. No GRE, 2 research papers 4 strong LORs

Canadian undergrad, ~3 years research experience, 2 middle author papers. Got an email to check the portal, which then prompted me to download a PDF of the the decision letter... kinda convoluted for a rejection lol To everyone else- hang in there!

Stanford rejection day!! Got a generic message on my portal like everyone else here today it seems.

Not my first choice anyways but still sucks

After carefully reviewing your application to the graduate program in chemistry at Stanford University, our Admissions Committee has decided that it cannot grant you admission for autumn quarter of 2021. This decision is a consequence of the restricted size of our entering graduate student class, coupled with the very large number of impressive applications received this year. As a result, many able applicants could not be accepted.

Stanford Slaughter Day! The POIs I was interested in really wanted me but weren't part of the committee. They mentioned the politics behind recruitment, so makes sense!
